Materials
We take great pride in the premium materials that underpin the exceptional quality of our steel radiators. Our vertical tubes are manufactured from highgrade lowcarbon steel with a wall thickness of 1.5mm to 2.8mm, which effectively minimizes oxidation and corrosion to guarantee a long service life. The header components are stamped from ST14 lowcarbon soft steel plate at a thickness of 1.8mm to 2.8mm, delivering outstanding strength and ductility with no cracking after forming, thus further enhancing the inherent corrosion resistance of the material. For robust internal protection, we utilize the advanced TY3318 anticorrosion coating, which provides superior longterm durability against waterrelated damage in heating systems. Benefiting from a lightweight yet structurally durable design, our radiators achieve efficient heat dissipation and stable thermal output to ensure consistent indoor comfort. They are engineered for a working pressure of ≤1.0MPa, with a test pressure set at 1.5 times the working pressure to ensure maximum safety. Suitable for operating temperatures up to 95℃ and optimized for water with a pH value ranging from 7 to 12, our radiators fully comply with national standard water quality requirements. Exclusively designed for closed hot water heating systems, they can achieve an extended service life when maintained with full water protection during the nonheating season.

Instructions
Shengchun steel radiators feature reliable quality, excellent corrosion resistance, durability and even heat output. They are designed for closed hot water heating systems and should not be directly used with steam, geothermal heat, industrial waste heat or power plant cooling water; non-pressurized boilers can be used after proper heat exchange. Professional installation is recommended, usually under or beside windows with proper clearance from walls and floors. Only standard-compliant pipes should be used, and non-oxygen-barrier plastic pipes are not suitable. During operation, water temperature must not exceed 95°C with qualified water quality; trapped air can be bled to fix uneven heating. Clean with regular detergents and avoid hard impacts or high-temperature exposure. Perform full-water maintenance in the off-heating season and drain the system in freezing conditions to prevent damage. With proper use, these high-performance radiators will ensure long-term stable operation and a comfortable heating experience.
What's The Difference Between A 2 Column And 3 Column Radiator?
The main difference between a 2-column radiator and a 3-column radiator lies in their structure, heat output, depth, and suitability for different room sizes. Both types are commonly used in residential and commercial heating systems, but they are designed to meet different heating demands.
A 2-column radiator has two vertical rows of tubes. This design makes it slimmer and more compact, which is ideal for smaller rooms or spaces where wall space is limited. Because it has fewer columns, it contains less water and heats up relatively quickly. However, its overall heat output is lower compared to a 3-column radiator. This makes it suitable for bathrooms, small bedrooms, hallways, or well-insulated modern apartments where moderate heating is sufficient.
In contrast, a 3-column radiator features three vertical rows of tubes, which significantly increases its surface area. This allows it to generate higher heat output and distribute warmth more effectively across larger spaces. The additional column also means it holds more water, which helps retain heat for a longer period after the heating system is turned off. As a result, 3-column radiators are often used in living rooms, offices, and larger or less well-insulated areas.
Another key difference is depth. A 3-column radiator is thicker than a 2-column model, which means it projects further from the wall. While this increases heating performance, it may not be suitable for very narrow spaces. On the other hand, 2-column radiators offer a more streamlined appearance that blends easily into minimalist interiors.
In terms of energy efficiency, both types can perform well depending on the system design and insulation of the building. The choice usually depends on balancing available space, required heat output, and aesthetic preference.
Overall, 2-column radiators are best for compact spaces and moderate heating needs, while 3-column radiators are better suited for larger rooms that require stronger and longer-lasting heat performance.
Steel Two Column Cylinder Radiator Replacement
Replacing a steel two-column cylinder radiator is an important maintenance task that ensures your heating system continues to operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Over time, radiators may become less effective due to corrosion, internal sludge buildup, leaks, or outdated design, making replacement the best long-term solution.
The first step in the replacement process is to turn off the central heating system and allow the radiator to cool completely. This is essential for safety and to prevent water damage. Next, the system should be isolated by closing the inlet and outlet valves connected to the radiator. Once isolated, the radiator can be drained carefully to remove any remaining water inside.
After draining, the old radiator is disconnected from the wall brackets and pipework. It is important to handle this step carefully, especially if the radiator is heavy or corroded. Once removed, the area should be inspected for any damage to the wall or pipes, and cleaned before installing the new unit.
The new steel two-column cylinder radiator should be selected based on the room size, required heat output, and compatibility with the existing heating system. Proper sizing is crucial to ensure efficient heating performance. The new radiator is then mounted securely onto wall brackets or floor supports, depending on the installation design.
After positioning, the radiator is connected to the pipework using appropriate valves and fittings. Once all connections are tightened, the system is slowly refilled with water and checked for leaks. Bleeding the radiator is also necessary to remove trapped air and ensure even heat distribution.
Finally, the system should be tested to confirm stable operation and consistent heating performance. Regular maintenance after replacement, such as checking pressure and cleaning, will help extend the lifespan of the new radiator.
Overall, replacing a steel two-column cylinder radiator improves heating efficiency, enhances reliability, and ensures better comfort in modern heating systems.
Advantages of Steel Two-Column Cylinder Radiator
Steel two-column cylinder radiators are widely used in modern heating systems because they offer an excellent balance of efficiency, durability, and compact design. Their structure, consisting of two vertical columns of round steel tubes, makes them suitable for a variety of residential and commercial applications.
One of the main advantages is efficient heat output. The two-column design provides a good surface area for heat transfer, allowing the radiator to warm up rooms quickly and evenly. It is especially effective in small to medium-sized spaces where consistent and comfortable heating is required.
Another important benefit is space-saving design. Compared to larger multi-column radiators, the two-column structure is slimmer and less intrusive, making it ideal for rooms with limited wall space. This makes it a popular choice for bathrooms, hallways, bedrooms, and modern apartments where minimalism and functionality are important.
Durability is also a key advantage. Steel construction ensures strong resistance to pressure and daily wear, while advanced coating technologies help protect against rust and corrosion. This extends the radiator’s lifespan and reduces maintenance requirements over time.
In addition, steel two-column cylinder radiators offer fast thermal response. Because they contain less water than larger radiators, they heat up quickly and respond efficiently to thermostat adjustments. This helps improve energy efficiency and reduces unnecessary heating costs.
Aesthetic appeal is another benefit. The round tube design and clean lines give the radiator a modern, stylish appearance that fits well with contemporary interior design trends. They are available in various finishes, including white, black, and anthracite, allowing easy integration into different room styles.
Finally, installation and maintenance are relatively simple. Their lightweight structure compared to larger radiators makes them easier to install, while smooth surfaces simplify cleaning.
